Brew Like You Mean It
Great coffee isn't an accident — it's built through discipline, consistency, and knowing the details. Brewing well honours the quality in every bag we roast.
Stick to the basics. Respect the process. Fuel your day the right way.

Brewing Basics That Matter
Use fresh filtered water.
Match your grind to your brewing method.
Brew between 90–96°C for best extraction.
Use 1–2 tablespoons of coffee per 180ml of water.
Stay consistent — discipline equals results.
Brewing Methods
French Press (Cafetière)
What you’ll need:
Freshly ground Filter Grind coffee. A French press (cafetière). Fresh filtered water.
Method:
Add 15g of coffee for every 250 ml of water (roughly one rounded tablespoon per mug).
Boil water, then let it cool for 30 seconds off the boil (around 94°C).
Pour water evenly over the coffee grounds. Stir gently to ensure all grounds are wet.
Place the lid on without plunging. Brew for 4 minutes.
Press the plunger down slowly and serve immediately.
Pro Tip: If the brew is too bitter, grind coarser. If it's too weak, use slightly more coffee.
Aeropress
What you’ll need:
Freshly ground Filter Grind coffee. Aeropress brewer. Filter paper. Fresh filtered water.
Method:
Insert filter paper into the cap and rinse with hot water.
Add 14g of coffee to the chamber (one rounded tablespoon).
Pour 200ml of water just off the boil (around 94°C).
Stir gently for 10 seconds.
Insert the plunger and press down slowly after a 1-minute brew time.
Pro Tip: Aeropress brewing is flexible — adjust brewing time and pressure for stronger or lighter coffee.
Espresso Machine
What you’ll need:
Freshly ground Espresso Grind coffee. Domestic or professional espresso machine. Fresh filtered water.
Method:
Use 18–20g of coffee for a double shot. Distribute and tamp firmly and evenly.
Brew for 25–30 seconds for a 40–45ml double shot yield.
Pro Tip: If the shot runs too fast, grind finer. If it runs too slow, grind coarser.
Drip / Filter Brewers (V60, Chemex, Flatbed Brewers)
What you’ll need:
Freshly ground Filter Grind coffee. Drip brewer (V60, Chemex, etc.). Fresh filtered water.
Method:
Place a filter paper and rinse it with hot water. Add 15g of coffee per 250 ml of water.
Bloom the coffee by pouring a small amount of water and waiting 30 seconds.
Slowly pour the rest of the water in steady circular motions over 2–3 minutes.
Pro Tip: Control your pouring speed — too fast makes the brew weak, too slow can make it bitter.
Brew strong. Brew smart. Brew with intent.
Respect the craft — the results are always worth it.
