Who are Lucy & Blue?
Lucy Macleod has served in the Fire Service for over sixteen years and is currently a Senior Officer, committed to helping people through some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
Alongside her is Blue, her blue merle Australian Shepherd and qualified wellbeing dog, who brings calm, comfort, and reassurance to those who need it most.
Together, Lucy and Blue are the heart of the Lucy & Blue book series, stories drawn from real-life experiences and written to inspire young readers through themes of bravery, teamwork, and compassion, without exaggeration or gimmicks.
Why I chose them as ambassador
Because it’s the same mindset I respect everywhere: service, standards, and showing up.
